Terms & Conditions

Working draft. These terms are being finalised with legal advice before launch. They set out how we intend to work with you; the final version will govern once published.

1. Who we are

TheHelper.ai is operated by TheHelper.ai Pty Ltd (ABN 61 690 720 266), based in Melbourne, Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our service you agree to these terms.

2. What we do

We provide a done-for-you service that helps small business owners with their phone, admin, follow-up and related tasks, using a mix of AI and real people. A real Australian reviews the things that matter before they reach your customers or get charged. We help; we do not replace your people.

3. Pricing and billing

• Your Helper is billed weekly in advance, in Australian dollars, GST-inclusive.
• You can cancel anytime. There is no long lock-in. Your current paid week finishes and nothing is charged after that.
• Optional extras are set up and confirmed with you first, then added to your weekly.
• One-off builds (such as a website or automations) are scoped and quoted for you before any work or charge.

4. Getting set up

We do most of the setup for you. Where we need permission to act on your behalf, we will ask you to authorise it. We never ask for, see, or store your passwords. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to use the service lawfully and honestly, and not for anything misleading, harmful, or that we reasonably consider outside what we can proudly stand behind. We may decline or end service that does not meet this standard.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time. Because billing is weekly in advance, cancelling stops future charges; the current week is not refunded unless required by law. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Our responsibility to you

We take real care and use human review on the things that matter, but we cannot guarantee a specific business outcome. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Your rights and our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law always apply and are not excluded.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will let you know. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
